The Capuchin Friary

The Friary

The Friary is home to a community of Capuchin Franciscan Friars. The Capuchins have been in the locality since the 1600's and today continue to minister to the needs of the people of Dublin City and beyond. The Capuchin Day Centre for Homeless People is located just behind the Friary on Bow Street. Run by it's founder, Brother Kevin Crowley OFM Cap., the Centre provides hot meals, clothing, medical care and support to the poor and homeless of Dublin.
